Why We Built This Site
Louisiana gives the public broad access to many court records, but the hard part is figuring out which office holds the file you want. In St. Charles Parish, the Clerk of Court serves as the district court clerk and ex-officio recorder. The 29th Judicial District Court handles civil, criminal, juvenile, family, and probate or succession matters. The Sheriff's Office manages the jail roster and outstanding-warrant portal. State agencies handle official driving records, statewide custody tools, and some appellate or federal court access points.
